  • Gutter thickness and thermal bridging detail could vary, depending on manufacturer.
  • Ideally, the metal gutter outer surface should not bridge the insulation layer.
  • The liner should not bridge the insulation layer.
  • If the gutter is a conventional design the thermal bridge value will be high.
  • Liners must be air sealed to gutter flanges.
  • Filler essential to insulate gutter flange.
  • All joints in gutter flanges must be sealed.
  • All fixings and seals must be to manufacturers' recommendations.
