APL 50HR profile and perforated louvre profile abuts the Stevenage Campus bar.
The new fully integrated business campus in Stevenage, being built by main contractors Kier Build and designed
by Carey Jones Architects, has had a range of Architectural Profiles Limited's cladding profiles and rainscreen
systems specified to provide the aesthetics as well as a very cost effective construction option.
In all the campus covers approximately thirty seven acres including a large proportion of production units - all
of which have had their entire building envelopes constructed by Roofdec Limited in APL products. The APL 50
Half Round profile is sympathetically integrated with perforated and solid AP70 louvre profiles and Live louvre
system, whilst APL's 45/50 Secret Clip-Fix standing seam provides most of the roof coverings.
Also integrated into the scheme is almost 4000m² of APL's aluminium KRS Rainscreen system, all finished in
special silver grey to provide a stunning visual aspect on the five large separate office buildings on the
campus.
The Stevenage project is considered to be one of the UK's most prestigious development projects currently under
construction. It includes a number of separate restaurants including a central 'continental' style bar and
restaurant as pictured here. Architectural Profiles Limited of Reading in Berkshire consider themselves
privileged to have played such a major role in its construction.
