The impressive new Nimbus Park business park and warehouse development in Dunstable is visually striking in its metallic silver flat panel cladding and AP50HR with a bold anthracite grey 'half round' profile band running the length of each of the eight buildings.

Designed by The Project Design Partnership for developers Palace Yard Limited, almost 40,000m² of claddings systems for the entire external building envelope were provided by Architectural Profiles Limited of Woodley, Reading.

The construction called for very careful detailing between the horizontally laid AP50HR profile and the Tritherm flat composite panel work and incorporated flush inset personnel doors within the Half Round profile sections.

The unique shape of the profile, with no sharp arises, makes it almost totally self-cleaning which means that the elevational treatment retains the pristine appearance as originally designed.
