All in white, the AP70 louvre systems compliment the
development.
The high-tech building housing the Merck Research and
Development Laboratories owes much of its elegance and
appeal to the elevated parallel lines introduced by closed
louvre profile and live louvre systems discreetly fronting
the plant and service areas and elevator housings located
on the roof.
Architects, Temple Cox Nicholls (TCN) in Birmingham,
were responsible for the design of this exceptional development,
delivering a building which complimented the image of
such a high profile company with the highest quality interior
as well as exterior build.
The louvres specified were AP70/LCP louvre profile and
AP70/LBI live louvre system from Architectural Profiles
Ltd. of Reading. All of the louvres on this project were
produced in white, for which APL arranged a special colour
production.
The Louvres were specified to compliment the white flat
panel cladding to the main body of the building which
in turn amplified the hygienic image of Merck as a company.
Architectural Profile's product range has been built
upon many years experience in cladding and profiles provision
and services to the Architectural and Construction sectors.
Almost all of APL's products are now produced in the U.K.
