Advisory Committee on Roofwork
The ACR is the UK's leading authority on roofwork and roofwork safety. The ACR's aim is to provide useful information to enable all aspects of roofwork to be carried out safely. The ACR has defined the UK’s only test, recognized by the Health & Safety Executive, which determines the non fragility status of roofing products. The ACR produces a range of publications about safe working practices on both fragile and non fragile surfaces and other roof work issues. In addition, the ACR also offers a complaints procedure to settle disputes about the validity of non fragility claims made by manufacturers, installers and suppliers of roofing products.
